SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES
All of our items shipped within the continental United States are sent via UPS or US Postal Service. Orders outside of the United States are shipped by US Postal Service. Items are shipped within 1-2 days of receipt of payment if in stock. If an item is not in stock we will inform you of the expected ship date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal.
You must notify us of any request for return or exchange within 7 days of receipt of merchandise. Items must be returned in the same condition sent; all parts to machinery must be included. Upon receipt of returned item a refund will be issued.
Buyers are responsible for all shipping and insurance fees for returned items. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returned items.
Only unused knives are accepted for return or exchange. Sake warmers and sushi cases are final sale items.
If any item received by the purchaser is damaged in transit we will replace that item. Please keep the damaged item and the packaging for inspection by UPS.
All import and special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. These orders are final sale and cannot be returned.
By the way, we often used recycled boxes and shipping materials. There is no commercial recycling program here in New York City and we accumulate numerous boxes from shipments we receive. As believers in protecting our environment, we feel it
would be a waste to just throw these away. When you receive your purchase, it may not come in a fancy box, but the items will be the high quality products you are expecting.
